Hello everyone!  Quite a bit has happened in the last few months, and we honestly thought we would have some definite info to share with you a long time ago, but as of today, things are still up in the air.  But, just so you don’t think we’ve fallen off the face of the earth, here is a quick update, with lots of details and pictures to follow very soon:

We are still in Grand Isle, LA.  We put an offer on a house that’s needs some TLC on 2/8, and we are still waiting for closing.  Our offer was contingent on us being able to move into the house prior to closing, so we have been living on the beach since 2/14.  There have been lots of ups and downs along the way, with field trips and sandcastles in between.  Needless to say, we will not be returning to Rapid City any time soon.  Our travel bug has not left us; we think of this more as a pit stop.

As I said, once everything is finalized, we will be posting photos and details and bringing everyone up to speed just as soon as we have solidity.  Thanks (as always) for your patience.

PS – Please say a quick prayer for a relative who lost her son in a recent plane crash.  He was newly married, and there are many mourning hearts.
